Pejibaye River
Just a short drive from Turrialba through the sugar cane and coffee fields to the headwaters of the Pejibaye River. This blue-green mountain jewel is a stunning introduction to Costa Rican Whitewater and perfect for kids and beginners alike. In one of the many pristine pools your guide will teach you the basics of Rafting and once you’ve mastered some basic techniques we’ll head on down the river. Splash down one rapid after another as you gaze in wonder at the surrounding jungle. We’ll stop half way down on one of the many white sand beaches for a delicious lunch before we finish off the run.
